Aleda Patterson REGISTRATION FOR 2024-25

Our primary attendance areas for grades 1, 2, and 3 are the communities of Glendale, Terra Losa, Sherwood, West Jasper Place, Summerlea, and West Meadowlark Park.

Aleda Patterson School has an open attendance area. This means that students living outside the attendance area can enrol if there is space after all attendance area students are enrolled.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2024-25

Registration opens on February 1, 2024. Beginning the 2024-2025 school year, all new registrations, including Kindergarten must be done online. Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2019 may register in Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year. Learn more about kindergarten registration.

At Aleda Patterson, we offer two full day Kindergarten classes and a half day option.

Resident students who live within the current Glendale and Sherwood attendance areas are guaranteed admission into Full Day Kindergarten at Aleda Patterson.

Remaining spaces in Full Day Kindergarten will be filled, including when a random selection process is conducted, in the following order:

  1. Resident students who live in the current Afton attendance area.
  2. Resident students who live outside the attendance area.
  3. Non-resident students as per our Board’s regulation.
